About Galzerano

Third Generation of devoted service. Family Owned and Operated Since 1917

Founded in 1916 by Luigi and Jennie Galzerano, Galzerano Funeral Home has served families throughout Bucks County, Philadelphia, and the surrounding communities for over 100 years. The funeral home was originally established in Bristol, where Luigi and Jennie served the parish communities of St. Ann and St. Mark Church while building a reputation for compassionate and personalized care.

Luigi and Jennie’s three sons — Vincent, Louis, and Joseph — continued the family tradition of funeral service. In 1932, Vincent Galzerano expanded the business into the Tacony section of Philadelphia by opening a funeral home on Torresdale Avenue to serve the surrounding community and the families of Our Lady of Consolation Church.

In 1978, Vincent and Louis Galzerano opened the Bustleton funeral home, allowing the family to serve more families throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. As the needs of the community continued to grow, Louis II and Louis III established and built the Levittown funeral home in 1995, which remains the main office of the Galzerano family of funeral homes today. Conveniently located in Lower Bucks County, the Levittown location allows the Galzerano family to continue serving families throughout the area with modern facilities, personalized services, and the same compassionate care that has been part of the family tradition for generations.

The Levittown location is also home to the Galzerano family’s on-site crematory, allowing families the added comfort and peace of mind knowing their loved one remains in the care of the Galzerano family throughout the entire cremation process. Over the years, the Levittown funeral home has become an important part of the community and a trusted place where families can turn during difficult times.

The Galzerano family has remained committed to caring for families and their loved ones for generations. Lou and Carol continue the tradition today, carrying forward the level of service, compassion, and attention to detail that has been passed down through the Galzerano family over the years.

Today, Galzerano Funeral Home continues to proudly serve families throughout Bucks County, Philadelphia, and the surrounding communities with compassion, professionalism, personalized care, and the trusted assurance of an on-site crematory.
