William (Bill) passed away, at the age of 80. He resided in Newportville, PA for the last 30+ years.
Bill was the son of Armand and Carmella Pedicone, and was raised in Manayunk, PA. He attended St. Lucy Catholic Church; St. Mary of the Assumption Grade School and he graduated from Roman Catholic High School. Bill served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps., and he was a Vietnam Veteran. Bill then worked for The Philadelphia Gas Works Company for over 25 years.
He is survived by two elder sisters, Miss. Rosemarie C. Pedicone and Mrs. Gemma T. Lanzi, widow of Joseph S. Lanzi, Sr.; younger brother, Dennis A. Pedicone and his wife, Barbara; nine nieces and nephews, eighteen great nieces/nephews and four grand nephews. He was a younger brother to the late John J. Pedicone and his late wife, Antoinette.
Bill's love and devotion to the Dear Lord was the utmost priority in his life. He was a truly faithful man who prided himself in his strong beliefs and in putting his life in the hands of the Lord.
Bill enjoyed pitching in softball games he played with his buddies, and he loved playing his mouth organ (harmonica) alone or with friends who also played the musical instrument. His memory was intense -- he would quote verses, history, commercials and celebrities. He loved spending time with family and friends and sharing in interesting conversations. Bill will be dearly missed by all who were touched by his love and kindness. God Speed, God bless him with Peace and Our Love.
