Virginia M. Pisano

Virginia Reigel Pisano ascended to join her heavenly family on Friday, January 9, 2026, in Lewes, Delaware, after a short illness. She was pre-deceased by her parents, George and Margaret Reigel, sister, Gloria Lucidi, her two previous husbands, Richard Swangler and Joseph Pisano and her long-time partner, Bart La Camera. She will also join her two previously deceased children, Richard Swangler, Jr. and Carol Canulli. Virginia is survived by her son, George Swangler (Cora), and daughter, Susan Miller (Joseph). And Meme will be missed by her loving grandchildren; Jason Clark, Jenna Kormann, Alexis Swangler and Jacob Peffer and blessed great-grandchildren; Brie'el, Tristan, Hannah, Heath, Jason, Jr., Violet, Ivy and Jonathan. Following cremation, she will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Trenton, NJ in a private ceremony.

Virginia was born in Lattimer Mines, PA. She later moved to Trenton, NJ and grew up, married and raised her four children in the Ewing Township area. The family lived in Florida during the early 70's but returned to New Jersey for the next several decades. After her two daughters retired and moved to Delaware, Virginia joined them and lived out her remaining years.

For much of her adult life, she was employed by the Carter-Wallace pharmaceutical firm where she developed cherished, life-long friendships with several of her co-workers. She was also a faithful visitor to the various Atlantic City resorts and casinos where she spent her leisure time. Throughout her lifetime, she cherished the devotion of her fur babies, Chachie, Chico and Pepe and many precious cats. She will be sorely missed by many, including the outstanding staff at Ocean Grove in Millsboro, DE and by dear friends Kathy and Judy.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, from noon until 3:00 at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007.
