Steven D. Staffieri

Steven D. Staffieri was born on April 18, 1954, in Philadelphia, PA, and went home to meet his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 20, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Steve leaves behind his beloved wife, Susan Staffieri (nee Reczka), whom he was married to for 37 happy years. His children Jason (Joyce), Kaitlyn (Brett), and Andrew, all of whom he loved dearly, and was fiercely proud of. He was a special Pap to his grandchildren Gabriel, Samuel, and Greta. Steve is also survived by many dear cousins and special friends.

For forty years, Steve worked as an Operating Engineer and was a proud member of I.U.O.E. Local 542. Steve was a devoted member of Bensalem Presbyterian Church and sang in the church choir alongside his daughter. Through the years Steve was an avid boater, who "had been boating all of his life," and a muscle car enthusiast, nicknamed Talladega Steve. His greatest passion, which he had an unending enthusiasm for, was Model Railroading. He spent countless years perfecting his craft. He served as President of both the National and Pennsylvania Chapters of the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical and Historical Society for several years.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Dorothy (nee Reim) Staffieri, and his infant daughter Christine.

A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 11:00 A.M, followed by a Church Service at Bensalem Presbyterian Church located at 2826 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA.
