It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen A. Davis, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, whose presence lit up every room and whose contagious smile could warm the coldest day. Steve passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving behind broken hearts and cherished memories.
A man full of life and energy, Steve had an undeniable gift for making people feel seen, valued, and uplifted. As a talented barber, he didn't just cut hair-he listened, laughed, shared stories, and connected with everyone who sat in his chair. He brought people together, offering both his skill and his heart without hesitation.
Behind his ever-present smile, Steve quietly faced his own struggles. Despite the challenges he carried, he never hesitated to help others. His heart was generous and giving, always offering kindness even while shouldering burdens of his own.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life-his deep love for his family, time spent at the gym, the thrill of jet skiing, and more recently, a growing affection for birds. He especially cherished the companionship of his pet cockatiel, whose presence brought comfort and calm. In these moments he found peace, strength, and happiness.
Steve was a father who loved his son deeply, even when life's challenges sometimes created distance, his heart was always with him. His love for his entire family was unwavering and they were never far from his thoughts.
Steve is survived by his son, Kyle Davis; his father, Barry Davis Sr. (Sharon), three brothers, Billy Davis (Terrie), Barry Davis Jr. (Sheri), Anthony Davis (Nicole); five nieces and nephews, Jordyn Davis, Joey Davis, Brandon Davis, Dan Davis, and Kristen Davis, and countless friends who were like family. He was predeceased by his mother, Margaret Davis, whose memory he carried with him always. His absence leaves an ache in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
May we honor his memory by living with compassion, showing up for one another, and never underestimating the silent battles others may be facing.
Rest easy, Steve. Your light lives on in all of us.
