Stella R. Manna passed away peacefully Monday, April 22, 2024, with her family by her side. She was 93.
Known to many as Aunt Stella, this petite and perky woman usually brought smiles and laughter to the many locations she traveled. She enjoyed working at 3M's as a Packer, helping out with their Banquets and sharing her expertise with other employees. One of them, Jose Acevedo, became a lifelong friend and assistant in her senior years. Later years found her making her Bristol Senior Citizen Trips adventuresome and humorous for fellow travelers. A new friend came along, in the form of devoted Caregiver Rosa Gonzalez.
Named for a dear deceased cousin, Stella was the youngest of three children born to Dominic DiSabato and Carmella Natelli. Stella delighted her family when she graduated from Bristol High where she often marched with the band. She cared for her parents, welcomed her sister Yolanda’s family (Andrew Hamilton) for visits and enjoyed her older brother Michael until the completion of his life and WW2 service. She is predeceased by her loving husband Blase known as Bill and is survived by his sister Bonita and nieces Monica Scarborough and Anita Fiore (brother Nick) and her niece Kathleen H. Cummings (John) and other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also predeceased by her sister, Yolanda, brother-in-law Andrew and nephew Michael Hamilton. Her paternal surviving cousins include Emidio DiSabato and Doreen DiSabato Drumm of Philadelphia.
Relatives, friends, neighbors, and co-workers may join family members Monday, April 29, 2024, from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007.
