On April 7, 2021 Our Lord called our beloved father, husband, grandfather and friend Stanley V. Klimaszewski to be by his side.
Stanley was admitted to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, in Philadelphia, PA where he passed quietly surrounded by his family. Stan was born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, PA.
Stanley and the love of his life, Irene were joined in Holy Matrimony on July 7, 1951. We lost Irene in October of last year. He is survived by four loving children; Helen Spicer, Stanley Klimaszewski, Deborah Scheerer and Donna Shallcross.
Stan was retired from the Rohm and Haas Company being employed for almost 40 years and was a proud member of the Plant Fire Brigade. Over the years he enjoyed time with his family and friends, his boat, spending time down the jersey shore, target shooting and puttering around his yard and he was an avid collector of Superman memorabilia.
Stanley was a longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Croydon, PA.
He is preceded in death by his wife Irene, grandson David, and his daughter in law Karen.
Stan was blessed with seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 10 – 12 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Bristol Cemetery.
Keeping with CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks are mandated indoors and outdoors.
