Shae N. (Bellmeyer) Morong 1952-2021
“Her wings were ready but our hearts were not”. In the early morning of January 31, 2021 Shae N. (Bellmeyer) Morong was granted her wings. With a little over two years of battling diabetes, heart, kidney disease, strokes and Edema. Giving the great fight all she had and her favorite holiday passed she had enough of the pain.
Shae was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Sister, Cousin, Aunt and Friend.
Shae was born on November 24, 1952 just in time for Thanksgiving, in Abington, PA. She was the first child of Joseph and Janice (Breece) Bellmeyer. As a young child, she spent much time with her Paternal Grandparents in Newtown, PA and also her Maternal Grandparents in Bristol, PA. She grew up on Bath Road near the Police Station and later in 1970, she would graduate from Woodrow Wilson High School and later from Bucks County Community College.
Shae was a true believer in “Shop til you Drop”. Always looking for that special bargain and spending hours looking for that special gift. Reading and going to the movies was her great pastime, spending hours with her favorite authors like James Patterson and Janet Evanovich.
Time spent with her family was by far her most favorite thing in the world. Many holidays, birthdays, picnics were spent at her home with love and laughter always taking center stage. For many years Disney World was her Favorite place to vacation and then she discovered cruises. We were then off to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, even her daughter, Nicole’s wedding while island hopping.
Shae always put her heart and soul into anything she did. She spent four years on the Bristol Township School Board in the early 2000’s always putting the students first. Whatever bookkeeping/accounting job she took on was done with total competency.
Shae is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Janice Bellmeyer Christiansen, her husband's parents John and Elizabeth Morong and her younger sister Dawn Bellmeyer.
Shae is survived by her devoted husband, John with whom she would have shared 40 years this May 23rd. She is the loving Mother to her twin daughters. Shae Nicole (John) Potts and Stacey Noelle (Dennis) Fragale. Adopted Mother to Chelsea (Michael) Hargrett and family. Cherished sister of Josef (Kelly) Bellmeyer, sister in law of Rich Morong, her favorite cousin Elayne (Frank) Priore and great friends, Leya and Charlies Ruby.
The Morong family would like to thank all the caregivers and nurses for their guidance and understanding throughout her difficult time.
KNOW THIS: Shae’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she is loved forever more, and missed beyond measure. We are so fortunate to have shared many many
