Ronald J. Sabatini, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, at the age 78. Born on August 13, 1946, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, he was a lifelong resident of the area who touched many lives throughout his journey.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Karen, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage for 31 years. He was a devoted father to children, Michael Sabatini (Jennifer), Susanne Sabatini, Kristiane Sabatini, and Joseph Sabatini, and a proud grandfather to Michael Jr., Nicholas (Melissa), and Anthony. Ronald's love extended to his brothers, John Sabatini, and Pasquale "Babe" Sabatini, and he will be fondly remembered by his beloved dog, Gia.
A highly respected member of the community, Ronald took great pride in his work. He dedicated 58 years as an active member of the Cement Masons’ & Plasterers’ Union Local 592 Philadelphia, demonstrating his commitment and perseverance in the craft he loved. In addition to his professional endeavors, Ronald was known for his talents as a duck decoy carver. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, pursuits that brought him joy and relaxation. A natural perfectionist, he approached all endeavors with care and attention to detail, whether in his hobbies or the relationships he nurtured.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Emidio and Catherine (nee: Riccio) Sabatini, infant daughter Christine and his brother, Emidio "Sharkey" Sabatini. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and were inspired by his unwavering dedication to family, work, and community.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation sessions on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Galzerano Funeral Home, located at 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19057. A funeral service will follow beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at St. Mark Cemetery under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
