Roman Vlassenko Jr., born on February 19, 1947, in Germany, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2026, at St. Mary Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. A man of unwavering strength and kindness, Roman's legacy will forever resonate with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Roman was the beloved husband of the late Marijean Gattelli and the cherished son of the late Roman and Ksenia Vlasenko. He was a dedicated father to his two daughters, Caryn Vlassenko and Catherine Vlassenko, who will always remember his guidance and unconditional love. He cherished moments spent with his grandson, Alex, whose laughter illuminated Roman's heart. Together, they shared many treasured times, especially in the garden and while working in the yard. Roman's love for his family and the joy he found in their company will always be remembered.
In addition to his immediate family, Roman is survived by his brother, Walt Vlassenko, and his sister-in-law, Lois, who shared countless cherished moments with him. They, along with his daughters and grandson, will carry forward the love and values that he instilled in them.
Friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects during a viewing on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Galzerano Funeral Home located at 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA. Following the viewing, Roman will be interred in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
Roman's gentle spirit, warmth, and laughter will be sorely missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of many. His impactful presence and the love he shared will always be remembered as a guiding light in the lives he touched.
