Richard T. Rissmiller

Richard T. Rissmiller, a cherished family member, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Born on November 14, 1937, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Richard's journey of life was marked by love, service, and devotion.

Richard was surrounded by loved ones during his final moments, a fitting farewell for a man who exemplified family values. He is survived by his beloved wife, Flora E. Rissmiller (nee Morrell), and their three children: Richard Rissmiller Jr. (Jennifer), Sharon Bittle (Wayne), and John Rissmiller (Norma).

His seven grandchildren: Rob (Kelly), Jackie (John), Jimmy, Ashley, AJ, Searlait, and Eoghan. Along with his seven great-grandchildren: Maya, Lizzie, Violet, Josh, Emmie, Addy, and Isaac.

The legacy of love and support he cultivated will continue to thrive through his family.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy (nee Lohmoyer) Rissmiller. Their memories and teachings live on through the lives he touched.

An honorable veteran, Richard served in the US Navy, aboard Destroyers as a Sonarman. This is a testament to his commitment to his country and community. During his professional career he worked for IBM for 30 years as a System Specialist on large computers. This allowed him to make significant contributions to his field, reflecting his intelligence and work ethic.

After retiring from IBM. Richard started driving school bus for Pennsbury School District and later trained new drivers how to drive a school bus.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewings scheduled for Monday, May 12, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, both held at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by entombment at Rosedale Memorial Park in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Richard will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
