Paul W. Marlow, III

July 3, 1938 — January 10, 2026

Levittown

Paul W. Marlow, III, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Nazareth Hospital, fully surrounded by loved ones. He was born on July 3, 1938, in Bronx, NY, and thus was a lifelong Yankees fan. Paul served as a Merchant Marine and obtained a degree from SUNY Maritime Academy. He had a full and successful career as a mechanical engineer with GE and later Trane.

Paul was extraordinarily dedicated to his family, church, and community. Some even say he was "a legend;" he certainly was to his family.

Most of Paul's service was centered around St. Michael the Archangel Church in Levittown, where he was a parishioner from 1967 until his passing. He served as a CCD teacher, bingo helper, and most notably, a St. Mike's Fair volunteer. He was a fixture there at the Big 6 Wheel for many years. His dedication to St. Mike's persisted until the last, as he directed his children: "Make sure you get my offering up to the church!" Consider it done, Dad.

"Mr. Marlow" to many a Levittown Kid, Paul's community service included coaching Little League Baseball and years of volunteering with the Ben Franklin and Woodrow Wilson/Harry S Truman Band Booster Clubs. How many hoagies did he personally make for band fundraisers? Nobody knows. But it's safe to say it was probably thousands.

Above any other interest or hobby - of which his vegetable gardens ranked high - Paul's greatest love, source of pride, and endless happiness was his family, which included many friends absorbed into the Marlow clan. Family gatherings were always epic - noisy, loud, big, with lots of food - and red wine.

In keeping with that tradition, Paul's family gathered around him in his last days, tending to him, listening to his stories, and breaking all former rules associated with food and drink. He wanted his favorite Friday night meal of mussels marinara and wine, and he got it! It was such a blessing to the family to share that with him. The next morning, he passed peacefully, while listening to his favorite songs, and surrounded by family who filled the room. It was a precious time the family will cherish.

Paul is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia Marlow. Together, they nurtured a family of ten children: Christopher (Patty), Stephanie (Carolyn), LCDR USN (ret) James Marlow (Kathy), Teresa Bryant (David), Cynthia Augustine (Joseph), Paul Marlow IV (Christine Rebecca), Marialice Baran (Joseph), Joan Cullen (Larry), Rita, and Joseph (Lisa). His legacy is further cherished by his 17 grandchildren: Amy, Alex, Matthew (Megan), Kristine (Adam), Elizabeth (Marc), Ethan, Brian, Samuel, Selene, Charlotte, Joseph, Riley, Kari, Cameron (Rebecca), Nathan, Zachary, and Jason, as well as 10 great-grandchildren: Jack, Sullivan, Emmett, Kylie, Benjamin, Joseph, Elliott, Baby Diretto, Mason, and Noah.

Paul's siblings, Peggy Pretter, Thomas Marlow, Sr. (Ida), and Frances Scimeca, along with his siblings-in-law, Virginia Terico, Cecilia, Joseph, and Michael Jacques, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, mourn his passing and celebrate the impact he had on their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Annette (Coletta) Marlow, his sister Mary Ann Hilbig, parents-in-law, Stephen and Helen Jacques, along with brothers-in-law Eddie Pretter, John Scimeca, Stephen Jacques, Jr., Richard Jacques, and Robert Terico, Sr.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Galzerano Funeral Home, located at 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Rd, Levittown, PA. A short viewing time will also be provided on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, located at 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the church at 10:00 AM. Paul will be laid to rest thereafter during the interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA

The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Mary Medical Center and the Vitas Unit at Nazareth Hospital for the compassionate care they provided.

Paul will be remembered for his commitment to his family, his unwavering values, and the love he shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
