Madeline R Gesualdi

Madeline R. Gesualdi, age 89, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 11, 1935, in Washington, D.C, Madeline spent her childhood years in Bristol Boro before relocating with her family to Macon, GA. She eventually returned to Bristol where she met and married the late Vincent N. Gesualdi.

Madeline attended Mercer University (Georgia), Bucks County Community College and Temple University. She was employed as a bookkeeper and account manager for various small businesses before eventually retiring from her position as bursar for Pennco Tech. In addition, Madeline held her real estate license, was a notary public and worked with VITA Education Services tutoring adults in the English as a Second Language Program. Madeline was a devoted parishioner of St. Ann Church and was a loyal member of the Golden Marks and Columbus 500 in Bristol Boro. She enjoyed reading, entertaining, family celebrations and summer vacations with her cousins at Dewey Beach but her most memorable moments were her trips to Sant' Angelo d'Alife in Italy, the birthplace of her ancestors. 

Madeline was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Vincent N. Gesualdi, her parents Michael and Elga Rich (Ricciardi) and her devoted son-in-law, Mark Stanton. She is survived by her loving children Lynn Palumbo (Frank), Leona Stanton, Dan Garrett, Camille Coffin (Robert) and Matthew Gesualdi. She was the proud grandmother of Jeffrey Palumbo (Julie), Melissa Scott (Stephen), Nicholas, Rachel and Sarah Stanton, Dean Coffin, Jessica Gesualdi, Justine Gesualdi (Grant) and her 4 great grandchildren, Rosalie, Luca and Josephine Palumbo and Charlie Scott along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

In Madeline's memory, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, October 21, 2024, 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Rd., Levittown, PA 19057. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be private under the direction of the Galzerano Funeral Home.
