Lorraine F Bowyer

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine Florence Bowyer (nee Paletta), age 97, on Saturday May 2nd, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by family. Proceeded in death by her husband, George, and grandson Michael Polisano, she is survived by her daughter Lori Alexander (Jack), son George (Inge), daughter Patricia Polisano (Angelo), as well as granddaughters Amy Alexander (Brookes), Allison Alexander (Keith Lochel), Ashley Alexander, Lisa Francis (Aaron), great granddaughter Brooke Pippen, and great grandsons Dominick Francis and Joseph Francis, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Born on November 23, 1928 in Bristol, PA to the late Frank and Anna Paletta, she attended Bristol High School. After graduation she would commute to NYC as a Barbizon model. She married the love of her life, and they settled in Levittown, PA to raise a family. She was an "Avon Lady" until they founded Bowyer Pools, Inc. Lorraine "Flo" was very active in the industry, opening a retail store and serving as President of NESPA. She lived a long, full life traveling around the world. She will be missed by many, including her friend and caregiver to the end, Jennifer Smith.
