Lois M Hicks

Lois Margaret Hicks of Levittown, PA passed away suddenly Saturday, April 13, 2024, after a short battle with cancer at Jefferson Bucks Hospital.  She was 68. 

Lois was born on December 30, 1955, in Philadelphia, PA. Lois spent most of her life in Levittown raising her family and then her grandchildren in her childhood home.  Lois began her career in the distribution department at Airgas Safety in 1989.  She spent the next 30 years working in various departments until retirement in 2019.  After retirement she spent the next chapter of her life traveling.  Her destination of choice was the happy little island of Aruba.  If Lois was not traveling you could find her in a bowling alley where she spent countless hours with family and friends.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband Stephen (Pete) Hicks, daughter Joyce Bloom, and sister Jane Ritchie. Lois is survived by her brother James Ritchie, sister in-law Diane Ritchie, her children; Carol Kuchefski (William), Joseph Audsley (Andrea) and her two stepchildren; Sean Hicks (Katie) and Greg Hicks. Lois was a beloved grandmother to 10 grandchildren; Anthony (Joe), Cynthia, Bernadette, Allison, Dominick, Gabriella, Hunter, Jonathan, Dillon, Nathan, and great granddaughter Serena.

Throughout her life Lois was always helping someone around her.   In her passing she was able to donate her organs to the Gift of Life program.

Family and friends are invited to gather Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 10 - 12 p.m. at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.  Interment is private under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
