Joseph (Joe) Taylor Maser passed peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Maser, his five children, Jeffrey A. Michener, James E. Michener, DonnaMarie Gresko (David), Lisah M. Tunis (Michael) and Kristina L. Kezner. His brothers, Donald Shultz, Richard Schultz, Jeffrey Maser, sisters Ella Mae Haenle (Ronnie), Kari Maser and Patricia Maser-Darty, Julie Maser, Gloria Scott and Sandy Schwietzer and his many nephews, nieces and grandchildren.
Joesph is proceeded in death by his mother Suzanna Nepo, father, Orville T. Maser, brothers, Timothy Schultz and Harry Shultz and his sister Joyce Mullen.
Joe served in the United States Army and was a contractor by trade. Later in life, he owned and operated his own trucking company. Joe loved his motorcycles. He rode them and built them. He rode all over the country with his friends and family. He was a hobby enthusiast. He manufactured pens, jewelry and guitars. He loved music of all kinds. He spent many hours playing his keyboard and guitars with his band (The Four Friends) He spent many hours recording for many of the local bands in his studio. Joe also loved to fly model airplanes. He was a member of many local airfields throughout Bucks County and NJ.
Joe was the neighborhood Dad. If you needed a job, he gave you one, if you needed an ear, he lent you one. If you wanted to sit up all night drinking coffee, playing music and building computers, he was your guy. He will be missed by all.
Interment will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940. Please arrive at 11:15 am so that interment can take place at 11:30 a.m., due to cemetery restrictions.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date for immediate family and friends.
