Joseph P Cortino

Joseph P. Cortino passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the age of 76, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia on May 5, 1949, Joseph lived a life marked by quiet strength, resilience, and kindness.

Joseph worked as a painter for many years and found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including playing the slot machines, the lottery, and, most of all, spending time with his beloved cat, Emma.

Son of the late Leatrice Joy Hudon Cortino, Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Muffett; his brothers, Aram, Craig, Guy (Anthony), Ronnie, and Keith; and his beloved cat, Precious.

He is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory always.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday May 18th, 2026, at Galzerano Funeral Home 3500 Bristol- Oxford Valley Rd Levittown Pa 19057 at 10:15 am. Funeral Procession will be leaving at 10:30am to go to his eternal resting place in Resurrection Cemetery.
