John T Grumm

October 5, 1952 — February 16, 2020

John T. Grumm, age 67 of Lancaster passed away suddenly at his home in Lancaster in his wife’s loving arms, surrounded by his loving family.  Born and raised in Philadelphia he was a resident of Bristol Township for many years before moving to Lancaster 6 years ago.  Mr. Grumm was a former employee of Meenan Oil and Pep Boys, but he would say his most meaningful efforts were raising along with his wife 120 foster children plus his own family whom he loved dearly.  He will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years Tina (nee: Douglass) his 6 children Lindsay Ferretti and her husband Joe, Victoria Grumm and her fiancé Miguel Morales, John Grumm and his wife Sara, Susan Calow and her husband Ken, Ashley Grumm and Christian Grumm and his fiancé Heather Potts.  He will also be missed by his 28 grandchildren and many special friends including his brothers Michael, Bill and Fred.  Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday, February 21, 2020 from 7 – 9 pm and again Saturday morning from 9 – 10 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.  Service will be at 10 am.  Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
