John "Jack" R. Forko, Sr. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on June 7, 2026, at the age of 90.
Born on May 22, 1936, in Bordentown, New Jersey, Jack was the son of Frances and Charles F. Forko, Sr. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ann, Alice, Mary, Charles Jr., Edward, and Frank. Jack was a devoted family man. He was the loving father of John Forko Jr. (Krystina), Lisa Forko (Stephen), and Joseph Forko Sr. (Joanne). He shared a special bond with his grandson, Shane Cornelius, and his niece, Donna Boltersdorf (Karl), both of whom he helped raise as his own. He was also the proud grandfather of CJ, JR, Kyle, Joe Jr., Casey (Rob), Jake, Nick, Brandon, Jaxton, Jaycee and great-grandson Lucas.
Jack lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and unwavering love for his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, he spent many years as a skilled welder in the fabrication industry, taking great pride in his craftsmanship and the quality of his work. In addition to his trade, Jack was a talented and well-known airbrush artist in Levittown, whose creativity and attention to detail earned the admiration of many.
Jack had a larger-than-life personality who never hesitated to speak his mind. A true ballbuster with a quick wit and a great sense of humor, he loved making people laugh and keeping those around him on their toes. Despite his tough exterior, he had a generous heart and worked tirelessly to provide the best life possible for his children and family.
He found great joy on the water, especially fishing from his beloved boats. Some of his happiest moments were spent casting a line, turning wrenches, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing stories with family and friends. A true motorhead at heart, Jack spent countless hours working on hot rods in his Corvette shop. He loved the roar of an engine and took great pride in seeing the cars he worked on out on the street racing. Jack was also a proud member of the Penn Warner Club, where he enjoyed the camaraderie and friendships he built over the years. Jack never met a stranger and he couldn't make laugh. He was friends with everyone and had a remarkable ability to strike up a conversation wherever he went.
Though he will be deeply missed, Jack's legacy of hard work, laughter, friendship, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
