Jean O'Hara

Jean O'Hara, 88, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Thursday, January 14, 2026, at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home. Jean was born on December 17, 1937. She led a life characterized by unconditional love, caregiving, dedication, and an enduring commitment to her husband, with whom she had been married for over 66 years, as well as to her two children.

Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph P. O'Hara, and her cherished children, Annamarie Hunton (Thomas), and Joseph O'Hara (Minaz). Jean took great pride and joy in her role as a grandmother. She will forever be known lovingly as “Goggy” and “Grandma” to her grandchildren, Shannon Winward (David), Scotty Molle, and Jakob O'Hara. She also leaves behind a sister, Maryanne Venturino, and a brother, Alfred Venturino.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Moronese) Venturino, and her brother, Joseph Venturino. Her life was a testament to the bonds of family and the warmth of community.

The family will hold visitation services at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057, on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday morning, January 27, 2026, from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.

In these times of sorrow, we remember Jean not merely for the date of her passing but for the countless moments of joy and kindness she shared during her remarkable life. Jean loved caring for others. Her spirit will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those whom she touched and those who loved her.
