James A. Lubinski, born on August 11, 1952, in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and strength. He was 72.
James honorably served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, a commitment that reflected his sense of duty and pride in his country. His military service shaped his character and instilled in him values that he carried throughout his life.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Margaret, with whom he shared 51 wonderful years of marriage. James was a devoted father to his children: Edward Lubinski (Traci), James Lubinski Jr., Joseph Lubinski (Brandy), and Michael Lubinski (Susan). His family brought him immense joy, and he cherished each moment spent with them. In addition to his children, he was a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and a beloved great-grandfather to 2 great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Joan Lubinski, and his brother, Edwin Lubinski. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
A visitation in honor of James will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania, 19057. Following the visitation, an interment service will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
In remembering James, we celebrate a man who was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. His spirit and warmth will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
