James E Cowan

James E. Cowan of Levittown, PA passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.  He was 83. 

Known as pop-pop or pop-sicle, James Cowan enjoyed many activities such as golfing, camping with his wife and grandchildren, traveling the world, bird watching, taking photos, enjoying a nice meal with his family and the occasional milkshake. He loved his sweets, as you could always catch him sneaking jellybeans into his pocket before dinner.

James will be missed by his wife Chantri Cowan, his children Michael Cowan and Alesia Cowan, his four grandchildren Brett Cowan, Erik Schaum, Taylor Cowan, and Dylan Schaum and his granddog Boomer.  He will also be missed by his brother William Cowan who resides in Florida, brother in law Bro. Sirichai Fonseka in Thailand and his niece and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, August 12, 2022, from 9 - 10 am at St Michael the Archangel, 66 Levittown Pkwy, Levittown, PA 19054.  Funeral Mass will begin at 10 am.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World Wildlife Fund or the Bucks County Audubon Society.
