Grace M Kuehnle

August 8, 1930 — March 8, 2024

Grace M. Kuehnle (nee Feuse) of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully Friday March 8, 2024.  She was 93.

Grace was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She married and moved to Buckingham, PA where she was a homemaker while her children were growing up then moved to Doylestown and was a travel agent before taking over the family automotive parts business upon the passing of her sister and retirement of her father. She ran Gear and Clutch Exchange/G and C Automotive (named after herself and her sister Catherine) until her retirement when her son took over the business. She fell in love and married George W. Kuehnle, moving to Cape Coral, Florida away from the cold winters of the north. Grace and Wes built a home up north in Quakertown where they could spend summers having family and friends over. Grace loved to golf, shop, sweets (especially a good chocolate chip cookie) and spending time with her family.  She also had a deep love for her beloved Jack Russel Terriers, all affectionately named after cars – Mercedes, Royce, Porsha, Lexus, and Coupe. Her Catholic faith and education were important to her, she went to church every Sunday, where she became an usher, and referred to Ash Wednesday fondly as “the dirty forehead club.” Grace enjoyed learning new technology, always taking a computer or camera class of some sort. She was a 50+ year breast cancer survivor and for a short period of time when she retired to Cape Coral, she owned a boutique specializing in Prostheses. After her husband Wes passed away, she made several trips traveling to Arizona to visit her daughters and even to Alaska.

She is preceded in death by parents Frank and Catherine (nee: Thompson) Feuse, her sister Catherine Callahan, her husband’s George W. Kuehnle Sr. (Wes) and Harry Ritzheimer.  She will be greatly missed by her children Frank (Jill) Ritzheimer of Cape Coral, FL, Linda (Gary) Guerrero of Tucson, AZ, Teresa (Sonny) Adams of Tombstone, AZ, Christopher (Maureen) Ritzheimer Sr. of Doylestown, PA, and George W. (Crystal) Kuehnle Jr. of Huntington Valley, PA. She was the dear mom-mom/grammy to Dawn (John) Emenhizer, Diana Carmack, Amber Guerrero, Sara Jones, Christopher Ritzheimer Jr., Emily Jones, Kaitlyn (Kody) Bishop, Michael Ritzheimer, Shelby Kuehnle, and George W. Kuehnle III. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
