Frank G Coon

Frank G. Coon, of New Hope, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 81.

Born in Girardville, Pennsylvania, Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Montana. He dedicated many years of his life to U.S. Steel, where he served as a plant manager until his retirement.

Frank will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his devotion to his family, and the kindness he shared with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ann Coon; his sons, Frank and Louis Coon; and his sister-in-law, Dorothy Coon.

Frank was the beloved husband of Gianina Coon. He was the loving father of Jennifer Varcoe and her husband, Scott; the cherished grandfather of William, Zach, and Garrett; and the dear brother of Clarence Coon. He will also be greatly missed by his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Epstein, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. A funeral home service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
