Elizabeth “Beth” Marie Forte, a devoted nurse and beloved member of her family passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Beth made it her mission to care for others. In addition to providing love and care for her family, Beth dedicated her career as a nurse to bringing comfort and warmth to those in need.
Beth was married to her cherished husband, Joseph “Joe” Forte, and together they created a home filled with love in Bensalem. She is survived by her loving siblings: Miki (Chris), Eileen (Konrad), Steven, and Richard, who will remember her kindness, laughter, and unwavering support. Beth was aunt to Janine (Valerie), Kevin, Mike (Linda), Adam (Danny Nichole), Nikki, and Lisa (Ryan). Beth was great aunt to Owen, Eva, Max, Savi, Issac, Nick, and Ethan.
Beth was predeceased by her parents, James “Jim” and Joan Mariner, and her sister, Lynn Ann Mariner. The memories of these cherished individuals will forever remain a source of inspiration and strength for Beth's family.
Beth attended St. Cecelia School and graduated from Cardinal Dougherty. Beth achieved her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Jefferson School of Nursing. Beth primarily provided care, services and support for children and their families during her career in nursing.
Visitation services honoring Beth will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass at St. Ephrem Church located at 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020. The Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Flowers may be sent directly to St. Ephrem Church prior to 9:00 am on March 11, 2026.
Beth will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched through her compassion and dedication. Her legacy of care, love, and resilience will continue to inspire those who knew her.
