Eleanor P. Sims, a beloved member of the Bristol community, passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 20, 2024. She was born in Bristol on July 27, 1930, to her loving parents Michael and Frances Perrone.
Eleanor dedicated her life to public service, serving in the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office and Bristol Borough Tax Office. Her commitment to her work left a lasting memory on all those she helped throughout her career.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Eleanor found great joy in being a member of St. Ann Church Parish and School. From her early days working at the parish office to her involvement in events like Italian Day and the St. Ann Carnival, Eleanor's faith and dedication shone through. She was a steadfast supporter of the Home and School Association, always ready to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter Lisa and son-in-law Bob Petrizzi, grandsons Robert (Jessica), Matthew (Daniela), Michael (Alyssa), great-grandchildren Harper, Michael Jr., Raelyn, and soon-to-be-born Matthew Jr. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Perrone (Kelly) and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Charles Sims, her siblings James Perrone, Michael Perrone, Anthony Perrone (Jennie DiBlasio), John Perrone, Mary Palumbo (Frank), Josephine Venere (Edward), Yolanda Pannullo (Michael), Margaret Mongillo (Raymond).
Eleanor will be remembered for her kindness, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and community. Her legacy of service and compassion will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 9 – 10:15 am. at the St Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Steet, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at St Mark Cemetery.
