Edward A Dikun

Edward A. Dikun, of Croydon, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at St Mary Hospital with his family by his side on August 1, 2026, at the age of 88.

Born on June 27, 1938, in Hungary, Edward built a life centered on family, hard work, and kindness. He was well known for his friendly personality and welcoming smile while working as a greeter at Walmart in Tullytown. Edward genuinely enjoyed meeting people and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued. His warmth, compassion, and sense of humor earned him many lasting friendships throughout his life.

Edward was also a proud Life Member of Croydon Fire Company No. 1, where he faithfully served his community for many years. Throughout his time with the company, he held numerous positions, always willing to step forward wherever he was needed. Most recently, he served as a member of the Fire Police, continuing his dedication to protecting and assisting the community he loved. Respected for his dependability, quiet strength, and selfless commitment, Edward earned the admiration and friendship of generations of firefighters. His service to Croydon Fire Company No. 1 was a source of great pride and will remain an enduring part of his legacy.

Edward was a devoted father who took great pride in his family. He is survived by his daughters, Theresa Seabridge (Joe) and Vickie Kibler (Paul); his sons, Mike Dikun and Edward Dikun (Laura) along with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren and extended family and many dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday August 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Croydon Fire Company, 911 State Road, Croydon, PA 19021. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held privately under the care of Galzerano Funeral Home.
