With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Diane T. Morreale, who left this world on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Lower Bucks Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Diane brought light, laughter, and warmth into every room she entered. Her absence leaves a profound void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Diane's life was a testament to strength, grace, and unwavering devotion. She faced her battle with colon cancer with courage and dignity, never allowing pain to dim the radiance of her smile or the sparkle in her ocean-blue eyes. Her intuition was a gift-she always seemed to know just what to say, offering comfort, wisdom, and guidance with a gentle touch and a loving heart.
Professionally, Diane dedicated herself to serving others, working as a Secretary Level 2 for the State of New Jersey and later at Slomin's Security Systems. Her tireless work ethic and quiet brilliance earned the respect of her colleagues and the admiration of those fortunate enough to work alongside her.
But Diane's true legacy lies in the roles she played so beautifully: devoted wife, nurturing mother, loyal daughter, cherished cousin, and beloved niece. She wore many hats, and she wore each one with grace, humor, and boundless love. Her family was her greatest joy, and her love for them was fierce, unconditional, and ever-present.
Outside of her many hats, Diane found joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. She cherished day trips with her family, tending to her backyard garden, and escaping to the movies. She enjoyed friendly bowling nights with loved ones, her healthy competitive spirit shining through every roll. Her heart overflowed for her granddog, Gigi-Mia-at five years old, their deep emotional bond brought her comfort and laughter like nothing else. She delighted in feeding the squirrels along the Delaware River in Bristol Boro and poured her creativity into arts and crafts projects that reflected her bright, imaginative spirit.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Bartle; her children, Amanda and Joseph; along with their father, Joseph Morreale Sr.; her granddog, Gigi-Mia (age 5); her uncles, Butch Sweeney and Donald Byrnes; as well as her father, Thomas Ellis (Kathy). Diane also leaves behind a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her presence and who will forever hold her memory close.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Arlene A. Ellis (née Byrnes), whose reunion with Diane in heaven brings comfort to those left behind.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Diane's life on Saturday, August 23, 2025. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
Diane's legacy is one of love, laughter, and resilience. She will be sorely missed, deeply mourned, and forever remembered by those whose lives she touched. Her spirit lives on in every kind word, every act of compassion, and every moment of joy shared in her honor.
