With heavy hearts we announce the passing of David W. Tannock of Levittown, 73 on Monday April 26th 2021. He was the Founder, Owner & Operator of A-1 Oil Company of Levittown, PA.
Born in Philadelphia, David was a longtime resident of Levittown. He was in the Army and will always be remembered for his generosity and love for animals, boating, camping, fishing, fixing things and gardening. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
David is predeceased by his wife of 50 years Ruth Tannock (Sacks) and his parents Walter and Elda Tannock. He is survived by his five children Robert (Lynn), Traci Van Schaick (Richard), David II (Shanna), Tiffany (Tom) and Tanya (Steve), nine grandchildren Vanessa Shellhammer (Ed), Stephanie Van Schaick, Tyler Tannock, Dara Tannock, Katilyn Greiner (Shawn), David Tannock III, Makayla Gundy, Makenzie Gundy, Harper Tyler, four great grandchildren Dylan and Aubrey Shellhammer and Gianna Van Schaick and Lucia Castro. He is also survived by one sister Patricia Rosso. He was a loving uncle, cousin and friend to so many and will be sadly missed by them all!
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 11 - 1 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Rd, Levittown, PA 19057. Service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
Keeping with CDC guidelines, social distancing and masks are mandated indoors and outdoors.
