Daniel J. Lanzendorfer, 73, of Furlong, passed away on September 17th following a brief illness.

Dan was born in Philadelphia. His family moved to Feasterville when he was in elementary school. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1974 and began his career as a patrolman with the Lower Southampton Township Police Department, where he eventually attained the rank of sergeant.

While working full-time at the police department, Dan attended night school at Rider University and earned a Master's degree in public administration. In 1990, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which led to his retirement from the police department. He then began a new career with the County of Bucks as a Domestic Relations Officer, a position he held for 29 years. During those years, Dan also faced and survived two bouts of cancer.

Outside of his professional life, Dan enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Pam, shared a love of travel and adventure. Together, they visited 68 countries, creating memories and experiences they cherished throughout their 47 years of marriage.

Dan is survived by his wife, Pam, and his sister, Patricia Kelly (John), his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Joseph Lanzendorfer, and his sister, Cheri Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 7th, at North Southampton Reformed Church, 1380 Bristol Road, Churchville, Pennsylvania. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
