Cheryl Ann Meehan

Cheryl Ann Meehan, born October 29, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend who valued the relationships she built throughout her life.

Cheryl was the daughter of the late Benedict Rose and Nancy Keyser, whose love and guidance shaped her early years. Sister to Debra Rose and Benedict “Ricky” Rose, their influence remained with her always.

She found great meaning in being a mother to her daughter, Nancy Bays, and her sons Paul Meehan, Austin Meehan (d. 2020), and John Colin Meehan. Cheryl also took joy in being “Mimi” to her eleven grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Cheryl will be remembered for her gentle nature and the steady kindness she offered to those around her. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, for a visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM, both at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19136. Interment will follow at St. Dominic Cemetery under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
