Charles Lufkin

Charles Lufkin of Levittown, PA passed away Monday, September 8, 2025. He was 65. Born January 9, 1960, in Fort Dix, NJ to Patricia Lufkin and the late Norman C Lufkin, Sr. He graduated from Delhaas High School where he was on the wrestling team.

Charles had many jobs, he worked at Hong Luck Restaurant, Congoleum, Werner Enterprises, Eclipse/Rite Aid, and his favorite was as a security officer at Parx Casino where he recently was named "Security Officer of the Year."

His passions were being with family, celebrating his Irish heritage, camping in Lebanon, PA, dancing, the trails at Silver Lake Park, decorating his house for the seasons and live music. Charles had a strong faith in God, he was a great friend to many, and above all was recognized for his dancing, whether it was on duty at Parx, or with his mom.

In addition to his father, Charles was preceded in death by his brother David. He is survived by his brothers Norman (Joanne) and Daniel (Yumiko), and sister Lois Katz (Alan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews Olivia (Owen), Caroline (Rory), Jeffrey (Sakura), Nicole (Travis) and Kyle (Sabrina), and he especially enjoyed his great nieces and nephews Oliver, Atlas, Silas, Wren, Emmett, Ayla and Nolan.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 6 - 8 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057 and Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 1905. Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Silver Lake Nature Center or Queen of the Universe Parish.
