Carol A. Simons, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, at her daughter's home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 80 years old.
Born on December 9, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Carol was the daughter of the late Joseph J. Codispoti and Theresa C. Codispoti. She was a 1963 graduate of Delhaas High School.
Carol was a loving, caring, and generous woman who devoted much of her life to helping and caring for others. She had a heart that was always open to family, friends, and anyone who needed a helping hand. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to be there for others touched the lives of so many, and she could always be counted on when someone needed support.
Above all else, Carol treasured her family. The time she spent with those she loved was most precious to her, and she cherished the countless memories they created together. She took great pride in her daughter, son in law, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter, and nothing brought her greater happiness than being surrounded by her family.
Carol also had a special love for animals, especially her beloved cat, Samson, who was a cherished member of her family and brought her endless companionship and happiness.
Those who knew Carol will also remember her love of shopping. She enjoyed spending afternoons browsing through some of her favorite stores, especially Boscov's, JCPenney, and Macy's. A talented and creative woman, Carol also enjoyed crafting and working with her hands. Whether she was creating something special, enjoying a shopping trip, or simply spending time with someone she loved, Carol found happiness in life's simple moments.
Carol will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, infectious kindness, and the love she gave so freely. Her greatest legacy can be found in the family she loved, the people she helped, and the countless lives she touched along the way.
To know Carol was to know love, kindness, and a heart that always had room for one more.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph J. and Theresa C. Codispoti, and her brother, Dr. Joseph R. Codispoti, M.D.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Michele (Blum) McMonigle and her husband, Brian McMonigle; her grandchildren, Brian J. McMonigle and Jaclyn T. (McMonigle) Illiano and her husband, Joey Illiano; her cherished great-granddaughter, Juliana; and her sister-in-law, Joyce Codispoti.
