It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bertram William Bath, Sr. on February 19, 2026, at the age of 82. A cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather, Bert was born in Wilkes Barre, PA to Bertram R. and Mary Bath. He graduated from William Tennett High School in Warminster, PA, after which he dedicated much of his life to nurturing his family in Levittown, PA.
Bert had a deep commitment to his faith and was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Levittown. At the church, he enriched the community by singing in the choir, serving as an Elder, organizing the Good Friday breakfast, and assisting with various youth activities. Afterward, he found a spiritual home at Riverstone Church in Yardley, where he enjoyed ministering to those in need in Kensington, participating in the men's group, and volunteering with Vacation Bible School.
An avid sports enthusiast, Bert enjoyed bowling, golfing, and watching Philadelphia sports teams. He cherished the moments spent with his family and friends, creating lasting memories that will be carried on through his loved ones.
Bert is preceded in death by his parents, Bertram and Mary; his wife, Lois; and his grandson, Derek. He is survived by his wife, Diane; his sister, Elaine (Dalton); his son, Bert Jr (Edna); his daughters, Lisa, Natalie (Patrick), and Christina (Elvis); as well as his grandchildren, George, Nathan, Mariah, Chloe, Sara, Jaden, Trey, Laci, and Micah, along with numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Riverstone Church, located at 725 Oxford Valley Rd, Yardley, on Friday, March 13 at 10 AM. In celebration of his love for sports, attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite Philadelphia sports gear.
Bert's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
