Barry W. Davis, a dedicated steel worker and cherished family man, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his home, surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 13, 1945, in England, Barry lived a full life marked by hard work and deep familial love. His unwavering commitment to his profession as a steel worker not only contributed to his community but also served as a testament to his strong work ethic and determination.
Barry is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon Davis, who stood by him through life's many adventures. He was a proud father to his sons: William Davis (Terrie), Barry Davis (Sheri), Anthony Davis (Nicole), and Bruce Briel. As a grandfather, he cherished his time with Brandon, Austin, Joey, Jordyn (Jason), Dan (Alex), Kristen (Devon), and Kyle. He was also a loving great-grandfather to Mackenzie, Kaia, Taylor, and Emberlyn, who brought immense joy to his later years.
In addition to his immediate family, Barry shared a bond with his brothers, Brian Davis and Jonathan Davis (Tiffany), and his sisters: Heather Rusk, Marion Winchel, Phyllis Paton, Georgia Shupe, and Lorraine Davis. They all remember him fondly as a source of strength and wisdom, ensuring his legacy will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew him.
Barry is predeceased by his parents, William and Heather Davis, his son, Stephen Davis, and his sister, Diana Wiser. Their memories remain a cherished part of his life story, one that shaped the man he became.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at Galzerano Funeral Home in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Barry's family extends an invitation to all whose lives he touched to join them in honoring his memory and celebrating a life well-lived.
