Barbara J. Broderick, born on August 24, 1946, in Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024, in Cherry Hill, NJ, at the age of 78. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Barbara’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of many throughout her lifetime.
She is survived by her loving children, Christopher Broderick (Jocelyn), Jennifer Miller, Kelly Dahl (Ray), and Tracy Burns. Barbara found immense joy in the company of her grandchildren—Courtney, Ray, Samantha, Ryan, Ashlyn, Noah, Emma, Jack, Riley, Braeden, Michael, and Chase—as well as her great-grandchildren, Issac and Brody. She is also cherished by her siblings, Maryann Jackson and Linda Fingalsen (Randy), along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory dear.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, with whom she shared 46 wonderful years of marriage living their life in Philadelphia, PA. She was also preceded by her brother, Robert Pauli, and her parents, Peter and Pauline Pauli.
Known for her love of coffee, shopping, and spending quality time with her grandchildren, Barbara enjoyed a life full of simple pleasures that brought her joy and surrounded her with those she loved.Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Church, located at 8100 Colfax St, Philadelphia, PA 19136. Following the visitation, a Mass will take place at 10:00 AM, with an interment ceremony at Calvary Cemetery, 2398 Marlton Pike W, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
Barbara will be deeply missed, and her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched with her love and compassion.
