Angelina M. Salvatore passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born on October 30, 1937, and lived in the Philadelphia area for most of her life. She took great pride in her Italian heritage, which she imparted to her family.
She was a devoted Phillies and Eagles fan who stuck with them through many heartbreaking seasons. Along with her beloved husband, Mario ("Butch"), she taught her children that winning was not always the most important thing and that they should always support the people they love, especially when they are down-even if it meant changing the channel in the seventh inning, only to flip back to the game 10 minutes later.
Angie was devoted to her family, whom she loved fiercely. She welcomed spouses and grandchildren with the same passion that she gave to all aspects of her life. She spent many years in the factory production industry and was always admired for her dedication, tenacity, and caring nature.
Angie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty eight years, Mario Salvatore, as well as her parents, Vito and Alfonsina Lavanga.
She is survived by her loving children, Julie Spurri and her husband, Albert; Linda Gurt and her husband, William; and Robert Salvatore and his wife, Michelle. She was the cherished Mom Mom to Albert, Amanda Dunnick (Adam), Darby, Deven, and Teddy.
Angie was a quiet woman who had innate strength, an enormous heart, and unwavering devotion to all she loved.
She will never be forgotten by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her greatest happiness came from seeing her loved ones enjoying life's big and small events.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
