Alyssa Lyn Legette, born on August 3, 2000, in Bristol, PA, transitioned to her eternal rest on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, surrounded by her loving family. She was a beacon of light whose warmth touched all who had the fortune to know her.
Alyssa took great pride in her educational accomplishments. She graduated from Bucks County Technical High School, specializing in Culinary Arts, and furthered her passion for cooking by attending Walnut Hill College in Philadelphia. There, she earned both a Bachelor's degree and an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts, showcasing her dedication and commitment to her craft. Her culinary journey reflects not only her talent but also her unwavering ambition and love for the art of cooking.
Alyssa dedicated herself to a career in home health care, demonstrating a profound commitment to supporting and caring for others. Her compassion was evident in every aspect of her life, as she strived to uplift the spirits of those around her, making a significant impact on the lives she touched.
She leaves behind her devoted mother, Christine Doneker, and her stepfather, Earl Thomas, as well as her father, Andre Legette. Alyssa is survived by her cherished siblings, Anthony (Kali), Eric, Mian (Mulo), Deron, Andrea and devoted sister Aaliya, grandparents Guy and Donna Doneker, along with a many cousins and one special cousin she looked up to Dee Dee (Dawanda) Legette. Her family was a source of joy and pride for her, and she relished the time spent with them.
Alyssa was also a beloved aunt to her nephews, Anthony, Stephen, Andrew, Daniel, and Noah Tylor, and to her nieces, Aubree and Nae'lahni Evelyn Jade. The bond she shared with her family exemplified her loving nature and joyful spirit. Preceded in death by her grandparents David and Evelyn Joyce Legette.
Her life was further enriched by her boyfriend, Alex Villafane, with whom she shared countless moments of love and laughter. She was the best aunt ever to her nieces and nephews went over and beyond for her mother.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Alyssa's life during a viewing on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 8:00 PM at the Galzerano Funeral Home, located at 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA.
Alyssa will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the bright light she brought into the world. She leaves behind an enduring legacy of love and compassion that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and all those she encountered throughout her life.
