In Loving Memory of Alka Verma (April 8th, 1972 ~ April 8th, 2026)
With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Alka Verma, who left this world on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026, at the age of 54.
A cherished daughter of Leela Mullick and late Major B.P.S. Mullick, she was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. Alka was a loving wife, caring mother, and the heart of the entire family. She filled every room she entered with warmth and love. She was a gifted artist whose paintings reflected her deep emotions and gentle spirit. She had a special way of noticing beauty in the smallest moments: in the sweep of color across a canvas, in the soft hush of falling snow, and in the laughter of those she loved most.
She treasured every late-night movie outing with her son Ashwin, and she so deeply loved visiting and staying with her daughter Ayoshna, where they would spend evenings together eating cheesecake. Little Nyxi, her cherished cat, brought her such everyday joy and comfort. By her husband Ajay's side, she traveled the world and found wonder in every corner of it. He was her life companion, her greatest love, and her dearest friend.
Her kindness was boundless and her compassion left a mark on every soul she touched. She taught us, simply by the way she lived, to find beauty in ordinary moments and to love without reservation.
Alka Verma will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by her family:
Ajay Verma (Husband)
Ayoshna Verma & Kyle Reesman (Daughter and Son-in-Law)
Ashwin Verma (Son)
Leela Mullick & Late Major B.P.S. Mullick (Mother and Father)
Nikunj Malik & Monika Malik (Brother and Sister-in-Law)
Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 11 - 1 p.m. at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol - Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Interment is private and managed with care under the direction of Galzerano Funeral Home.
