Delano Poeta

Delano Poeta, age 78, of Atlantic City, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2015 at Royal Suites & Rehab in Galloway, NJ. He was born and raised in La Jose, PA, before moving to Levittown in the 1950’s. Delano enjoyed gardening and taking long scenic rides; but most of all he was a kind, gentle man who loved spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Barbara of 24 years; his step-children Bob Powell and his wife Jane, and Linda Tucker and her husband Jessie. He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Kristin, Samantha, and Jake; great grandchildren Jordan, Alayja, Justin, and Jaden; his sisters Marie and Jean; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may attend his viewing on Tuesday, June 16, from 10:30-11:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:30am. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
